First 2 months of College

The first two months of college has been nothing short of eventful.
From the first week, with the craziness of orientation and names, which feels like a million, all to prepare you for the slow transition into classes. Bucknell has been wonderful, from my roommate who is perhaps the man, but is always sick with something; to the people in my hall, who i may always disagree with but have to live with them, so I have to man up. To the people in my building, tons of people all with different personalities and different background and some more wealthy than others. Tons of rich kids by the way. But anyways I have had some wild nights some I dont think i can describe in such a public blog. If you want details you know how to contact me. I digress ( i've always wanted to say that) so I learned a couple of things in my very short time at Bucknell so far and i hope to compile a list of things i can hopefully publish: I Start
1. If you are drunk and you have to use the bathroom, I recommend going in the shower, that way you cant miss.
2. Getting into parties are not always everything. Some people make it their lives getting into parties but there is more to college. But this is coming from a guy who has never been rejected so i dont know about this one
3. You will get sick, no matter how hard you try to avoid it...the faster you get something the quicker it is to get rid of it.
4. Find a group of friends, one that you feel comfortable with...these are probably going to be your friends for a life time.
5. Drunk texts and calls are going to be a part of life, embrace it. ie. As i am typing this i just received one.
6. Don't ever feel pressured to do anything. Anything you do, you kinda wanted to do it in the first place so dont complain.
7. College is full of mistakes.
8. Work harder than you play, not the opposite.
9. Please, I repeat Please Don't be the awkward kid. Always think to yourself, would a regular person do this. I know this may be hard.
10. Have fun.
